UglyScore uses MediaPipe Face Mesh, a computer vision model by Google, to map 468 facial landmarks in 3D. Mathematical scoring algorithms then compute symmetry ratios, golden ratio proportions, jawline definition, skin quality metrics, and more — based on published facial proportion research.
What are the face tiers?
Your score maps to one of 9 tiers — from Mythical (9.0+) down to The Precious (1.0–1.99). Each tier has its own identity, tagline, and emoji. Most people land between Everyman and Leading Role.
Is my photo stored?
No. Your photo is processed entirely in your browser using on-device computer vision. It never leaves your device and is never uploaded to any server. If you voluntarily submit a consent photo, it’s AES-256 encrypted and you can delete it anytime.
How do I get a better score?
Good lighting, a straight-on angle, and a neutral expression give the most accurate results. For actual improvement, skincare routines and grooming can affect skin quality scores over time.
