Am I Ugly?

It's a question most people have asked themselves at some point — usually late at night, usually after comparing themselves to someone else. The problem with asking other people is that you never get a straight answer. Friends are too kind, strangers are too harsh, and online forums are unpredictable. You end up more confused than when you started.

AI face analysis offers something different: an objective measurement. Instead of opinions, our tool uses 468 three-dimensional facial landmarks to evaluate the geometric properties of your face — the same measurements used in peer-reviewed facial perception research. It calculates your bilateral symmetry, how closely your features follow the golden ratio, the definition of your jawline, the balance of your facial thirds, and your eye proportions.

What you get is a structured breakdown — not a single number with no explanation, but a detailed look at which of your features are strongest and where there's room for improvement. Many people who expect bad news are surprised to find their symmetry or proportions score higher than they assumed. Self-perception is notoriously unreliable; mirrors and phone cameras both distort how you see yourself.

Research in psychology consistently shows that people rate their own attractiveness less accurately than strangers do. A landmark 2008 study by Epley and Whitchurch found that people fail to recognize their actual face among morphed versions — they reliably pick a version that's been made slightly more attractive. We literally don't see ourselves clearly.

An important caveat: geometry is only one dimension of how people perceive you. Expression, grooming, confidence, posture, and personal style all matter enormously — and none of them show up in a structural analysis. A high score doesn't mean everything, and a lower score certainly doesn't define you. This tool measures facial structure, not your worth.
